Having never watched a single episode of the TV show I have absolutely no idea where this is heading but I'm excited to find out. This box set also comes with a large external map of Westeros & The Free Cities which will be the perfect companion in what remains of my journey throughout ASoIaF. Saying that, the cover art for this box set is amazing and is consistent with a majority of his other works, so I prefer these over the imagery of the HBO-Inspired Editions but that is just my personal preference, the in-book text/font/maps in this set are totally fine and readable for me. Personally, I feel the in-book text/font/maps are slightly crisper and the pages of better quality in the HBO-Inspired Editions. Other than that, the books themselves are in perfect condition, and as far as I can tell contain no missing pages or errors like some of the reviewers here have mentioned, although I must admit my checks were not as comprehensive as I would've liked due to spoilers. The boxset itself arrived in near immaculate condition, there was a minor tear of the plastic lining and a very superficial blemish on the corner of the box.
